Jackson Williams
Jackson Thomas Williams (born May 14, 1986) is an American professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He has also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants.
==Career==
Williams was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the first round of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft out of the University of Oklahoma.〔(Giants Select Williams 43rd Overall )〕 He played in the Giants organization until 2013 without making the majors. He signed a minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies before the 2014 season.〔(Rockies release non-roster spring invitees list )〕
Williams was called up to the majors for the first time on June 22, 2014.
Williams was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on October 22, 2014.
